Dahua DH-IPC-HDW1239V-PV is a 2MP active deterrence camera built for buyers who want their security system to respond to intruders in real time, not just record them after the fact. Housed in a compact eyeball-style dome, it combines a built-in siren, strobe light, and customizable voice alarm that triggers automatically when a perimeter breach is detected.
The camera uses a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor delivering 1920×1080 resolution at 25/30fps, paired with a fixed 2.8mm lens (3.6mm optional). Its Smart Dual Light system runs on infrared by default at night, then switches to warm white light with full-color recording the moment it detects a target — both IR and warm light reach up to 30 meters, giving clearer, identifiable footage instead of flat black-and-white night video.
Human detection algorithms filter out false triggers from animals, shadows, or passing vehicles, so the siren only activates on genuine human activity — a meaningful accuracy improvement over basic motion sensors.
