Description
The Fire Break Glass Exit Switch (also known as an emergency push button) is an essential part of any access control or electric lock system. It serves as a manual override safety device, designed to disconnect lock power and unlock the door during emergencies like system failure, fire, or power interruption.
In situations where the card reader, push button, or access controller malfunctions and personnel are locked inside a room, this emergency glass break switch allows for quick and safe exit. By simply pressing and breaking the glass, the device instantly cuts off the power to the electric lock, enabling immediate door access.
